Todays free app is scrabble, the most popular word game in the US. Play against friends on facebook or just against a random opponent and you can play up to 50 games at once. (Huh?) Inclusive with chat to you opponents and there is a teacher feature which tells you what you could have done in you last move so that you can learn what you could have done.
